At the wake of the cabinet`s approval of excising approximately 17,000hacters of forest land to former squatters, many conservation groups and initiatives saw this as a possible threat to the state's biodiversity, conservation efforts and thus an impact on the economy state in the long run. The AYICC-Kenya chapter took upon themselves to compile former footage on the Mau Forest, so as to relay a message to the civil society as well as authorities, through the use of social media ( Facebook, Twitter and YouTube) platforms. It is, therefore, important that we realize the value of these invaluable natural resources, and utilize them well, and for posterity Enjoy!
